  नासा (NASA) ने एक अलर्ट जारी कर बताया कि करीब आधा किलोमीटर बड़ा एक उल्का पिंड (Asteroid) धरती (Earth) की तरफ तेजी से आ रहा है. इस उल्का पिंड की रफ़्तार करीब 5.2 किलोमीटर प्रति सेकेंड या फिर 11,200 मील प्रति घंटा तक बताई जा रही है. नासा के मुताबिक, ये उल्का पिंड अमेरिका की एम्पायर स्टेट बिल्डिंग से भी बड़ा है और 6 जून को धरती की कक्षा में दाखिल होने वाला है. नासा ने इस उल्का पिंड का नाम रॉक-163348 (2002 NN4) रखा है और उम्मीद है कि ये धरती के बेहद करीब से होता हुआ गुजर जाएगा. इसकी उल्का पिंड की लंबाई 250 से 570 मीटर के बीच बताई जा रही है, जबकि ये 135 मीटर चौड़ा भी है. नासा के मुताबिक ये उल्का पिंड सूर्य के करीब से गुजरता हुआ धरती की कक्षा में दाखिल हो रहा है. सेंटर फॉर नियर-अर्थ ऑब्जेक्ट स्टडीज़ के मुताबिक बीती 21 मई को भी 1.5 किलोमीटर बड़ा उल्का पिंड धरती के काफी करीब से होकर गुजरा था. ऐसे 2000 से ज्यादा उल्का पिंड है, जिन्हें नासा की संस्थाएं ट्रेक कर रही हैं. हालांकि इस उल्का पिंड से किसी भी तरह के नुकसान का कोई अनुमान नहीं है. नासा के मुताबिक, इस उल्का पिंड का धरती से टकराने का 1% चांस
